I provide mental health evaluations for persons who have had to flee their home country due to well-founded fear of persecution.Explaining and detailing how the effects of their traumatic experiences provide evidence of the persecution they suffered.

The Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) allows eligible non-citizen spouses, children, and parents of U.S. citizens or permanent residents to apply for lawful residency without their abuser’s knowledge or help. VAWA is designed to protect survivors of abuse so they don’t have to remain in harmful situations to keep their immigration status.

The U-Visa is for individuals who have been harmed by certain crimes, have information about the crime, and have been helpful to law enforcement. It offers protection and a path to legal status for those who have suffered physical or emotional abuse.
Created under the Victims of Trafficking and Violence Protection Act, the U-Visa helps survivors stay safe while supporting the investigation or prosecution of crimes.

The T visa provides temporary immigration relief (up to 4 years) for individuals who have experienced severe human trafficking. Applicants generally must assist law enforcement, though exceptions may apply.
Created under the Victims of Trafficking and Violence Protection Act, the T visa helps survivors stay safe while supporting efforts to combat trafficking.

Hardship waivers allow U.S. citizens or legal residents to request exceptions to immigration rules by showing that denial of status would cause extreme hardship to a U.S. citizen or legal resident family member.

Schedule your Assessments
If after the consultation you decide to move forward with my service, we will meet two times. The meetings will take place either via video call, or in person. During this time, we will complete the assessments needed for the evaluation.
Review written report
Once the report is written, typically 7 days after last assessment, you will have the opportunity to review the report before it is signed and released to you.
